Daniela Ropolo
STEERING COMMITTEE

With a degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Turin, she currently holds a managerial position at CSR. She has been Sustainable Development Initiatives Manager for the CNH Industrial Group since 2008, when she also began specializing in sustainability issues, obtaining several international ISO 14001, SA8000 and Mobility Management certifications.  Specifically, she has acquired in-depth knowledge of environmental and social sustainability issues by implementing and developing dedicated projects with an international scope, involving China, India, Africa, Latin America and Europe. Some of her latest activities include conceiving and managing projects in the field of sustainable agriculture and water management, implemented in collaboration with the United Nations in Africa; speeches held at the European Parliament to promote specific initiatives; ongoing collaborations with leading European universities focused on training generations of new managers that can interpret changes taking place through a system of new skills; and working as a Senior Mentor of the Club Inspiring Women at CCI France-Italie with the aim of helping talented women to develop managerial empowerment.

Mario Cerutti
STEERING COMMITTEE

Mario Cerutti was born in Torino (Italy) in 1958.

He graduated in Business Administration at the University of Torino and got an MBA from the University of Dallas.

He has been working in Lavazza since 1986, currently he is Chief Institutional Relations and Sustainability Officer in Lavazza.

He was President of the European Coffee Federation (ECF) from 2017 to 2020 – he served as president in ECF also from 2004 to 2007.

He is currently serving as President of  Italian Coffee Committee (CIdC -  Comitato Italiano del Caffè) -  the association of large Italian coffee companies - , as member of  Coffee & Climate Steering Committee and as member of the board of the Institute for Scientific Information on Coffee (ISIC). He is board member of ICP (International Coffee Partners).
